Polycom VVX D60

This handset and base station is compatible with the VVX 3xx, 4xx, 5xx, and 6xx business media phones. 

You do not need to dial any numerical prefix before dialing an extension or external number. Simply dial the extension or 10 digit number.

Call Forwarding

1. Press Lines.

2. Select the registered line, then Options > Enable Forward.

3. Choose the desired forwarding type.

  • Always: Forwards all incoming calls.
  • No Answer: Forwards all unanswered incoming calls.
  • Busy: Forwards calls that arrive when you’re already in a call.

4. Enter the internal extension or external number to which calls will be forwarded.

5. If you selected No Answer, enter how many rings to wait before forwarding.

6. Press the OK softkey.

Do Not Disturb (DND)

Enabling DND stops your phone from ringing and sends all incoming calls directly to voicemail. Calls are logged in your Missed Calls.

1. Press Menu.

2. Select DND.

3. Choose Select all, or the line(s) you wish to enable.

4. Press the OK softkey.

Voicemail Access

1. Dial *99.

2. Dial your password (default 0000).

Speed Dial

This feature is not supported on this device.

3-Way Calls

1. While on an active call, press the Options > New Call softkeys.

2. Dial the internal extension or external number to add to the conference.

3. Wait for the second party to answer, and then let them know that you would like to add them to a 3-way call.

4. Press the Options > Conference softkeys.

Warm Transfer

Places a current call on hold and allows you to speak with the other party before transferring the call to them.

1. While on an active call, press the Options > Transfer softkeys.

2. Dial the internal extension or external number.

3. Press the Transfer softkey.

4. Speak with the destination party.

5. Press Transfer again.

Blind Transfer

A blind transfer routes a call to another party without speaking to them first.

1. While on an active call, press the Options > Blind Transfer softkeys.

2. Dial the internal extension or external number.

3. Press the Transfer softkey.

Tip: To transfer a call directly to voicemail, dial 0 + extension.

Hold

1. Press the Options > Hold softkeys.

2. Press the Options > Resume softkeys to retrieve the call.

Modify Ringtone

1. Press the Menu softkey.

2. Select Settings > PreferencesRinger Type.

3. Choose Internal Calls or External Calls.

4. Select the desired ringtone (highlight to sample ringtones).

5. Press the OK softkey.

Note: This device supports silent ringtones.

Presence Monitoring

The device does not support this feature.

Pair Your Handset(s)

Enable Handset

1. On your deskphone, go to Settings > Advanced.

2. Enter the password 456.

Note: If this password is not accepted, contact Customer Support for assistance.

3. Select VVX D60 Configuration > VVX D60 Profile.

4. Press the Enable softkey.

Pair the Base Station

Note: The base station can not pair to a desk phone with a sidecar. 

1. Plug an ethernet cord into the base station LAN port, then into the deskphone PC port.

2. On your deskphone, go to Settings > Advanced.

3. Enter the password 456.

Note: If this password is not accepted, contact Customer Support for assistance.

4. Select VVX D60 Configuration > Base Station > PC Port Pairing.

Register Your Handset(s)

1. On the handset, press the Menu softkey.

2. Select Settings > Features > Registration > Register.

3. On the base station, press and hold the Find key for 3 seconds.

4. On the handset, press the Yes softkey.

Tips:

  • To deregister a handset, go to Menu > Settings > Features > Registration and select Deregister.
  • For info on additional registration methods, refer to page 14 in the user manual.
