Without an access code in the SUBJECT line of a fax email, a virtual fax machine can’t send faxes. When you create a new virtual fax machine, an access code is automatically generated and assigned; however, you can reset this for security reasons as needed (it’s like resetting a password on a secure account).
Note: The access code cannot be manually entered.
1. Click Virtual Fax Machines in the left sidebar.
2. Click the virtual fax machine that requires an access code (or needs it reset).
3. From the Sending tab > Email to Fax Access section, click [RESET].
Note: If an access code was not previously generated, a new one will be created. Otherwise, the access code will be reset to a new randomly generated access code.
