Many organizations these days have regional offices and remote employees that work outside of headquarters. To allow these individuals to make local calls without entering their local area code first, you can override the area code assigned to your system on a line-by-line bases.

1. Click Lines in the left sidebar.

2. Click the line that requires a different area code than the PBX default.


3. From the General tab > Outbound Call Options section, select Use under Local Area Code, and then enter the desired Local Area Code.

4. Click [SAVE].
