This feature is supported on Cisco MPP, Polycom, and Yealink only.
Hot desking allows a user to load their extension settings to a shared phone and use it as their own (make/receive calls and check voicemail) regardless of where they physically sit. This feature is enabled by default on all phones, but can be disabled on individual devices as needed—like the CEO’s phone.
1. Click Devices in the left sidebar.
2. Click the device that needs hot desking disabled.
3. From the Hardware tab > Device section, disable Enable Hot Desking.
4. Click [SAVE].
Note: You must power cycle the device to apply any changes made to its settings.
