While callers are waiting in a call queue, you can play a periodic message to them in addition to hold music. Let them know of any promotions you have, refer them to your support website, or thank them for their patience. Take advantage of this opportunity to speak directly to a customer while they are waiting to speak to you.
1. Click Call Queues in the left sidebar.
2. Click the call queue that requires a periodic announcement message.
3. From the Queue Behavior tab > Caller Settings section, browse for and select the desired Periodic Announcement Message sound clip.
Tip: Click the play icon to preview the sound clip.
4. Set the desired frequency for the announcement (Periodic Announcement Frequency).
5. Enable Say Hold Time (optional).
6. Click [SAVE].
