Inbound call filters are a powerful tool that route incoming calls based on the number that is calling. Through the use of different actions, harassing callers can be automatically disconnected, high priority customers can be given special treatment, or personalized messages can be delivered.
Call Filter Settings
To access the settings for a call filter, click Call Filters in the left sidebar.
In-line editing only.
Defines the incoming telephone number (DID) to which the call filter is applied. Enter a 10 digit phone number, use * (star) as a wildcard to broaden call filter criteria (e.g. 800* filters calls from 1-800 numbers, *4437 filters all calls ending in 4437) or leave this field blank to filter anonymous calls.
Displays a user-defined description for the call filter for identification purposes (255 character limit).
Defines the action that occurs when an incoming number matches the call filter.
