Override Default Hold Music on a Line
If you don’t change anything, a line will play the hold music assigned to your system. However, what a caller hears while they wait on hold is a great way to customize a line. Remember that hold music does not have to be solely music. It can also include audio files with personalized messages for the line or your organization.
1. Click Lines in the left sidebar.
2. Click the line that requires different hold music than the PBX default.
3. From the General tab > Inbound Call Options section, under Hold Music select Use, and then browse for and choose the desired playlist.
4. Click [SAVE].
