Jive rated best VoIP company to work for by GetVoIP and glassdoor.com …and we’re hiring

We take a lot of pride in our brand here at Jive.  With our very own platform built from the ground up by our army of 50+ engineers, a 99% customer retention rate, and some of the best company parties and events ever conceived, it can be hard not to toot our own horn.

So it’s always nice to hear it through the grapevine. In this case, we heard it here: Getvoip.com rates Jive Communications the #1 Best VoIP Company to Work for in 2014.

Basing their research on factors like glassdoor.com employee reviews, GetVoIP writes, “These companies produce industry-leading VoIP technologies, infrastructure, and services while offering top-of-the-line compensation, benefit packages, and perks to the employees who fill their ranks. Work-life balance, responsibility, and company culture all contribute to rankings.” Stats responsible for the win include a glassdoor.com employee rating of 4.9 out of 5 or “Very Satisfied”, and a CEO Approval rate of 100%.

But what’s it really like at Jive? Well, there are a few things they didn’t mention.  Secrets to our success, if you will. I don’t get to tell you about all of them, but here are a few:

Feng Shui.

Mountain Dew.

Cutting-edge process management tools.

Current Events. (And events about current events.)

Beards. (Stick to at least 1 per 25 employees for best results.)

Snuggies. Mugs. (Northern Utah, remember?)

And here’s an awesome quote: “The passionate, driven, and caring work community is cited as one of the top draws. Workers are impressed with the cutting-edge product and feel supported by management, who are frequently referred to as open, generous, and devoted to employee development. The fast pace and pressure to succeed are balanced by a fun environment. Jive is expanding incredibly fast, which offers both challenges and seemingly endless opportunity for advancement” (from the article).

Well there you have it.
