Jive and LogMeIn to Join Forces

This morning I am pleased to communicate some exciting news. Jive has signed a deal to be acquired by LogMeIn. LogMeIn, most of you will recognize as the parent company of the “GotoMeeting” and “join.me” product lines. This is a meaningful announcement and one that will greatly benefit our employees, partners, and customers.

Jive was founded in 2006 with the goal to disrupt the telecom industry and improve business communications. Since the beginning, we’ve worked together to grow into the world’s largest privately held UCaaS company. As a Jive leadership team, we’ve spent much of our time over the last year contemplating our next steps. How can we provide more value to our customer base? How can we enable partners to more effectively position Jive? How can we continue our incredible growth?

As we thought through all our options an opportunity to join forces with LogMeIn developed. The fit was evident, as combining Jive’s and LogMeIn’s products would create a dominant UCaaS offering. Partnering to create one of the biggest and best teams in UCaaS allows us to scale and reach more businesses than ever. After evaluating the numerous benefits this deal would bring, we decided to move forward, culminating in today’s announcement.

This deal marks a new chapter. We’re grateful to all our wonderful employees, customers, and partners, and remain committed to providing you with the best service and products on the market. All Jive services will continue uninterrupted, and we look forward to sharing additional exciting news as this deal closes and we begin to integrate with LogMeIn products.
